My approach has always been about the people in my team whether it be in the office, on the field or with the most important people in my life - family and friends. In the words of Clint Eastwood “The reason I still work at this stage of life is because I enjoy learning something new every day”.
Early education for me was a luxury that my parents could least afford so I have cherished every opportunity that comes my way. Leaving school in my early teens to work in an aged care facility, I have continued to work my way through life, so I understand the struggle and financial commitment it takes to achieve.
As a Mature adult, mother, and wife I returned to Study. Initially completing a Teachers Diploma in Word Processing quickly followed by an Executive Certificate in Computer Based Instructional Design at Edith Cowan University Western Australia.
My desire was always to be a nurse so in 2006 I entered the University of Tasmania School of Nursing. Completing my Bachelor of Nursing with Professional Honors in 2008 with a postgraduate certificate in E-Health. Then in 2013 received Master of Clinical Nursing.
Life has thrown up new challenges and sees me here in this space, offering my expertise in the areas of health and computing. I am passionate about good documentation, its clarity and legality. Nothing will stop me from giving you 100% of my time and knowledge.
